Jozefina Lichtenneger started working in vacuum tubes manufacturing in the late '90's. Not long after, she bought an existing company, moved to new facilities outside Prague where they started hand-making KT88's and 300B's. They are now among the world's highest regarded of their type. Her husband, Heinz, is the CEO of Pro-Ject whose vast line of turntables dwarfs that of any other manufacturer. Together, they introduced a line of high end 'tables under the EAT name, first with the Forté and now showcasing eight models with a range of complementary tonearms. A great turntable cries out for a great cartridge and so they now offer the Jo No. 5 and 8. Clearly, what better way to highlight the sound of their turntables than with a vacuum tube phono stage? They make three in the E-Glo Series of products. The newest member of the family is the E-Glo I pure Class A tube integrated amplifier. It can be outfitted with handmade E.A.T. KT88's.
