Hotels near Goodwin's High End
For those of you who are traveling a long distance to visit us you have basic two choices:
You can stay in downtown Boston where there are plenty of hotels. For instance the Taj Hotel (formerly known at the Ritz Carlton) listed below is in an excellent location in Back Bay next to the Public Gardens. There are many other fine hotels in the Boston too in areas such as the Waterfront, Beacon Hill, and Back Bay—all of which are within walking distance of each other. There you also have lots of restaurants to choose from—plus all of the cultural amenities are within walking distance including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the MFA (Museum of Fine Arts). Assuming you aren't driving at rush hour, Boston is only about a short 20 minute drive from us.
Alternatively there are several places listed below where you can stay in either Waltham or Newton (which is one town south of us) or Lexington (the town just north of us) that are all within a 5-10 minute drive from us.
