There have been thousands of audio components over the decades but only one became the best-known and best-selling amplifier in the annals of HiFi.That’s the NAD 3020 amplifier. Marty Borish and Bjorn Erik Edvardsen set out to design affordable, high quality electronics utilizing state-of-the-art engineering.
They focused less on lab test conditions but rather what made good sound with a wide range of speaker loads.
The versatility and stunningly low cost of little wonder catapulted it and the company into the forefront of the audio world.
Initially headquartered and engineered in the UK, development is now based in Canada. Over the decades, since the 197 release of the 3020, NAD has continued to produce innovative, great sounding, affordable products in an ever increasing range of categories.
Their reputation precedes them.
