PM 4
The Precision Monitor Line consists of four models. These are all-new clean sheet designs which feature new cabinets, dirvers and crossovers. Drawing on decades of design and manufacturing experience, these are designed to provide you with endless hours of musical enjoyment.
The PM 4 is the largest of the three-way monitors in the PM Line. While it is larger than the PM 3, it isn't hugely bigger. With highly accurate bass, midrange and top end reproduction, it is a more revealing speaker than the PM 3 with regard to the quality of each recording. Designed for listeners who wish to hear everything on a recording--whether it is a historical recording from the 78 era or a recent state of the art recording. Without being massively big, this is an excellent speaker that deserves to be auditioned by any serious music lover who seeks full-range reproduction but in a reasonably compact cabinet for it's capabilities.
Manufactured by Avalon Acoustics to their exacting standards, the PM 4 is available in a variety of finishes. Standard finishes are Birdseye Maple clear, Polychrome Light or Polychrome Dark. Premium finishes include Curly Maple, Quilted Cherry, Figured Walnut, etc. In addition you can choose from either a clear coat Satin or High Gloss finish.
